Crawley Town v Wrexham
Match preview
Tuesday March 3rd 2009
Tonight Wrexham make their first visit to Broadfield Stadium to play Crawley Town.
Wrexham are currently in 6th place in the table with 53 points, while Crawley are 8th on 50 points.
Wrexham's promotion push has stalled recently, with disappointing home draws against Northwich Victoria and Salisbury City as well as an away defeat at leaders Burton Albion.
Crawley have been in freefall recently, A 5-1 home win against bottom club Lewes being the only win in their last six league matches.
With Wrexham striker Marc Williams sidelined with a broken right foot, Dean Saunders striking options look limited. Forgotten man Michael Proctor could come into the reckoning for a starting berth alongside Jeff Louis, But the Dragon's misfiring attack will have to improve if they are going to take all three points and keep in touch with the playoff pack.
