FA Trophy Quarter Final

Saturday sees Ebbsfleet United visit the Racecourse for the second time this season.

In the league match in September, Wrexham won 3-2 with goals from Simon Brown and a Jeff Louis double. Times have changed at the Racecourse since the arrival of Dean Saunders though, and only two or three of the team that played in September can expect to be taking part on Saturday.

Ebbsfleet Form in the league has been poor recently, and they are currently placed sixteenth.

In the FA Trophy Ebbsfleet have had a relatively easy passage to the last Eight. A 2-0 away win at Bognor regis was followed by homes ties with Stalybridge Celtic (2-1) and Swindon Supermarine(2-0).

Wrexham started with a home win against Mansfield Town(2-1) and followed that up with away victories at Basingstoke town (2-1) and Workington(3-1).

Wrexham will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of losing at Burton Albion on Tuesday night, and if they display the enterprise and energy they showed in the first half against the league leaders then they should advance to the Semi Final.
