Woking v Wrexham
14th March 2009
Match preview
Wrexham travel south again on Saturday as they attempt to try and kick start a faltering promotion bid. The Dragons have taken just two points from their last five league matches, and have lost their last three away league fixtures.
Wrexham could be bolstered by the arrival of ex premier league star Matt Jansen. Ex Blackburn striker Jansen has signed for the Dragons for the rest of the season and should play a part in tomorrow's match, but may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Woking also need the points, but for entirely different reasons. They are currently placed just above the relegation zone, recent form has not been good with four defeats, one draw and one win from their last six outings. However they won last time out and also secured a creditable 0-0 with Burton Albion.
Despite Wrexham's recent woes, they can count themselves unlucky not to have taken something from the defeats at Crawley and Eastbourne, and they created enough chances to have taken all three points against Salisbury before allowing them back into the game in the second half.
If Wrexham can cure their profligacy in front of goal, they should have enough quality to secure all three points.
