FA Trophy review
The weekend's FA Trophy matches have left two ties needing a replay on Tuesday.
Blue Square North High fliers AFC Telford And Southport played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Leading 2-1 at half time, Telford looked as if they had done enough but a late strike by Leadbetter gave the Sandgrounders another chance at Haig Avenue on Tuesday night.
At the Racecourse, Wrexham and Ebbsfleet United played out a 0-0 draw. The game was littered with dubious refereeing decisions, the most bizarre being the sending off of Wrexham defender Aurelien Collin for a professional foul! Ebbsfleet will be the happier of the two teams here, the draw means Wrexham's league match against Kidderminster Harriers is postponed, adding to Wrexham's already congested fixture programme.
In form Stevenage Borough brushed aside Forest Green Rovers recording a comfortable 4-0 win. Stevenage lead 1-0 at half time, but three goals in a fifteen minute spell midway through the second half settled the tie.
At the Kit Kat Crescent. York City Held off Blue Square South outfit Havant and Waterlooville in a tight game. York took the lead just on half time , then had to wait until the 83rd minute to book their place in the Semi final.
Stevenage look to be the team to avoid in the semis, although Wrexham could point to wholesale changes in their line up as being a factor in Saturday's Stalemate. Expect Wrexham to change it around again for Tuesday's replay, with Marc Williams possibly returning after sitting out Saturday's game through suspension.
