Weekend review.

There were no major surprises in the weekends fixtures, in The Blue Square Premier.

Oxford United proved too strong for Barrow recording a 3-0 win. Oxford had to wait until the second period though to record a sixth successive home win.

In form Stevenage recorded their seventh straight win at Weymouth. The 3-0 scoreline flattered Stevenage, who took the lead on 43 minutes, then had to wait until the 86th minute to finally secure the points.

Second in the table Histon proved too strong for Salisbury City, hitting four without reply in an easy win.

Torquay kept the pressure on the teams above them by beating Altrincham 3-1 at home. Meanwhile Kettering improved their playoff chances with a close win at Woking.

In the Sunday game at Aggborough Stadium, Northwich Victoria stunned hosts Kidderminster Harriers with a late goal to take all three points with a 2-1 win.

Burton Albion now have71 points and lead second placed Histon by 16 points. Stevenage are a further two points back on 53 points, While Wrexham have moved up to Fourth on 52 points. Torquay currently occupy the final playoff position, they also have 52 points.
