"The defence have done a bit of work in the training ground," he told the official website.

"We came together as a unit and said we'll have to set or stall out a bit better and be a bit more aggressive. It seems to be working as we've only conceded one goal in our last four games. Long may it continue!

"The shape at the back seems a lot better and having Pej's pace at the back has improved us. He and Steve Evans have come together well as a partnership. As I said we've set our stall out for the rest of the season now and that's what we've got to continue doing.

"I'm quite happy with my form and hopefully I can continue it through the rest of the season and keep more clean sheets. I was disappointed with my tally last year, so I'm hoping to beat that. That's my aim for the year."

Wrexham have now kept three consecutive clean sheets at home.
