With over One thousand two hundred fans making the trip to the eagerly awaited game on Tuesday night, business would have been brisk for the publicans of the local watering holes in England's beer capital.
A special mention should be given to the publicans and fans of Burton Albion who welcomed us warmly. I was in a pub called the Great Northern which was close to the ground, there opposing fans mingled and enjoyed a little bit of banter and light hearted fun. As a supporter of Wrexham football club and a regular away traveller, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the true football fans of lower league teams who make following your home town team such a pleasure.
