Chris Llewellyn fired a 25 yarder to give Wrexham a lead over Bristol Rovers.
In the second half though Llewellyn found himself alone in the bath after being sent off for a two footed lunge.
Wrexham managed to arrest their slide of poor results though when the game was made safe in the 90th minute when Tom Craddock scored the Dragon's second.
