Brown hails Wrexham boss
Wrexham's Jonathan Brown was full of praise for manager Dean Saunders after the Dragons' 3-2 win over Grays Athletic in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
The 18-year-old winger scored from a 25 yard free kick with the game at 1-1 to put his side in the lead, but it was manager Dean Saunders' advice that made the difference.
Brown told the club's official website: "I was going to try the free kick I did against Northwich when Marc Williams scored from the rebound, where I turn and hit it. But I looked over to the boss and he shouted at me to flick it over the wall into the top corner, so I did!"
"There's real confidence in the team and we're fitter than the other teams in the division; the Gaffer keeps telling us that and it does show in the second half when the other teams tire"
"The Gaffer's been saying the midfielders have got to start getting more goals, and we did it today.
"That's four for the season for me and I'm aiming for double figures.
"We knew if we kept playing our football in the second half then the goals would come."
Brown is currently at Racecourse until the end of the season after Wrexham agreed a loan deal with his club Cardiff city.
He has scored three goals in ten League games, and also scored in an FA Trophy win against Mansfield Town in January.
