"We did so well for a period in the game and I think we showed them too much respect. If you let a Premiership player do what he wants you pay dearly for it.
"We did well down the left through Eifion Williams but the goals were sickening really. We changed it around to try to get back into it and it backfired."
Williams himself thought Wrexham did well first half.
"First half I thought we did really well, got in behind them, created chances and we looked dangerous," said the striker.
"Second half we let ourselves down and gave away sloppy goals and you can't do that at any level you play at, especially against Premier League teams because you are going to get punished."
