Collin Dismayed over red card
Aurelien Collin has spoken about the red card incident, which was the major talking point in yesterday's FA Trophy tie against Ebbsfleet United.
The match was marred by a host of strange refereeing decisions, with the referee letting some tough challenges go unpunished but blowing up regularly for trivial matters.
Collin was sent off after sixty five minutes, when the referee saw a tangle between Collin and Ebbsfleet striker Luke Moore as a professional foul, giving the Wrexham defender a straight red card.
The French defender was left bemused by the referee's decision and told press after the match "I don't know why I was sent off. Maybe the other player acted well, but I didn't touch him" said Collin. "I was just protecting the goalkeeper and he fell on the floor, I didn't argue, I walked straight off but for me it wasn't even a foul" explained Aurelien.
Collin was also impressed by the Wrexham crowd saying "to play in front of people like they are here in Wrexham was great"
Collin's red card was the first of his career.
