Saunders disappointed with Dragons
Wrexham manager Dean Saunders was bitterly disappointed after seeing his side held to a stalemate by Woking in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday afternoon.
Wrexham have taken three points from eighteen, and their playoff hopes have taken a serious jolt in recent weeks.
Speaking to Wales online Saunders said, "It's deja-vu all over again, isn't it? You could just use last week's interview and the week before that as well to be honest because it is the same.
"We started off well, we played some football when Wes scored but then it was suicide alert in the second half.
"I told them at half time not to play offside and it was an awful goal to concede. We kept shooting ourselves in the foot because we can't keep clean sheets.
"Once we got in front we got nervous when I was hoping for a second goal so that we could relax and start playing some football.
"All week long I have been feeling good but I felt today that the nerves have set in."
Wrexham Take the short trip to Northwich Victoria on Tuesday night, Knowing that any more slip ups will surely bring an end to any hopes they have of reaching the promotion playoffs. With only twelve games remaining, Wrexham desperately need to string another run of wins together to give themselves a chance of overhauling the teams ahead of them and achieve a top five position.
