Fans have a pop at Ingham

"The fans feel Iwas the main culprit and, while I'll put my hands up and say that I was bad, there were 10 other bad players as well. For them to direct all the abuse at me was hard to take.

"I admit I made mistakes for a couple of the goals, but the other three weren't my fault because we were shocking tonight from a defensive point of view.

"We can't say anything about the performance because we simply weren't at the races and as ateam we were shocking.

"They were all bad goals to give away, all defensive mistakes, which could easily have been erased. But when the lads' heads go down it's very hard to pick them up and it might have been more than five.

"For the first 25 minutes we controlled the game and then they came into it more. We were one-down at the break and felt we could come back into it, but in the second half we didn't come out of the dressing room."

"It's been a bad week for me goal-wise but anyone who knows me knows that Ican play at this level and probably higher.

"I remain confident in my own ability, the gaffer has shown he is prepared to stand by me and hopefully we'll be promoted this season. We've got to learn from this experience and get back on another run.

"Hopefully this was a freak result because that's not the sort of team we are. We need to get this one out of our system as quickly as possible because the Stockport game is just three days away, but at the same time we can't sweep it under the rug and forget about it."
