Fleetwood have brought in Wrexham left-back Sam Williamson and are looking to complete the signing of former Accrington defender Peter Cavanagh.Williamson, who has made 30 appearances for the Welsh side, has joined the Blue Square North leaders on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old started his career with Manchester City before initially joining Wrexham on loan in 2008.
Cavanagh, who is currently unattached, should complete his move next week.
The 28-year-old is nearing the end of an eight-month ban by the Football Association for breaching rules on betting in relation to Accrington's League Two match against Bury in May 2008.
