Manager Denis Smith has devoted much of the close-season to convincing him to stay on at the club where he started his career, before a £300K switch across the border to Liverpool.
"I'm made up at coming back home. Wrexham means so much to me," admitted Jones today.
"This is a chance for me to resurrect my career which has been a bit stop-start the last couple of years."
