New Wrexham goalkeeper Michael Ingham has been called into the Northern Ireland squad after Roy Carroll was forced to withdraw through injury.

Ingham was officially named in Lawrie Sanchez's squad for this Saturday's friendly against Germany at Windsor Park and is the only uncapped player in the 19-man squad.

He comes in as back-up to Birmingham's Maik Taylor as Carroll - who has been released by Manchester United - recovers from injury.

Ingham recently joined the Dragons after six years at the Stadium of Light, where he failed to establish himself in the first team.
