Johnstone's Paint Cup draw (was the LDV)

The competition is different this time around. No conference clubs are involved and 16 teams get a bye through the first round.

Wrexham did not get a bye and will face Rochdale at the Racecourse w/c 16th October.

Also different this time will be no extra time. Matches that are level at 90 mins will be settled with a penalty shoot out after the 90 mins. This is to get matches finished earlier so they become more attractive to familes. Kids will be given free tickets when accompanied by full paying adults.

There is also a crackdown on teams fielding a weakend line up. They will be expected to send out a team made up of a majority of players who playing week in week out in league games.
