Wrexham and Wales Under-21 midfielder Mark Jones has signed a new two-year deal with the north Wales club, who are now searching for a new striker after Hector Sam's decision to leave for Port Vale.
Manager Denis Smith said: "Things are starting to come together after a very frustrating summer for us.
"Mark had one or two things to iron out and I'm glad we could come to an agreement with him.
"I know Wrexham supporters will be delighted to see him in a red shirt again this season, especially after the promise he displayed last term."
Jones is tipped by some to break into John Toshack's senior Wales squad this season and will be out to impress as Wrexham try to bounce back following their relegation to League Two last season
