Wrexham face a tough trip to York City for Thursday's live Setanta match and Kempson wants the players to keep their feet on the ground.
He said: "It's a fantastic start for us. We've been working hard in training and everything just clicked today.
"We could not have got off to a better start and I think the fans will be as pleased about it as we are ourselves. But we can't get carried away, we have to keep our feet on the ground and continue to work hard."
