Reds defender Simon Spender has moved to BSP rivals Barrow for the rest of the season. Simon has only played twice since the arrival of Dean Saunders in October, so after discussing the offer with his family was happy to accept the opportunity.
Although the deal takes him through until the end of the season, there will be a 24 hour recall clause that can be activated after 28 days. Under the terms of the deal, Simon will be unavailable for selection when the Bluebirds visit the Racecourse on 2nd April.
Meanwhile Kyle Critchell will be returning to the racecourse after completing a two month loan spell with York City.
During his time at the Kit Kat Crescent, Kyle played in six BSP matches as well as appearing in FA Trophy matches against Oxford United, Kidderminster Harriers and Havant and Waterlooville which have seen York advance to the semi finals.
