The Dragon's are 2nd before the rest of the Conference catch up today with their game in hand. a 2 - 1 - 1 opening to the season is not a bad start but the striker expects there's more to come.
"As the games go by you can actually see there is still a lot more to come from this side," Louis said. "It's quite a new side with a lot of new lads coming in over the summer and it was going to take a little bit of time, but the gaffer definitely knows what he's doing and the jig-saw is coming together all the time.
"It's like anything it's going to take time to bed in and players get used to your game and get to know your strengths, but it is all starting to come together."
"It was great to get on the scoresheet (against Oxford)," he added. "It would have been disappointing not to have scored, especially after missing the penalty in the first half.
"I had quite a few chances and the gaffer said to me 'just keep going big man' and I did and got the second goal.
"I think losing at York has made us realise what we did wrong and made us realise what mistakes we have to correct and I think we have done that," he added. "York was very much a reality check for us."
