A Sporting Sanctions Appeal Panel today dismissed Wrexham AFC's appeal against the 10-point deduction imposed under Football League regulations after the club became subject of an administration order.
The independent panel, whose decision is final and binding, dismissed claims that the club's insolvency was due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances after examining evidence from club officials and an independent expert.
Therefore, the 10-point penalty imposed on the club stands.
