Lee Thomas, Mike Williams and Levi Mackin scored the goals that saw the reserves win at home for the first time this season.

Speaking after the game Joey Jones told the official website

"We were worth it. I know there were a few hairy moments at times, but we played some good football and all three goals came after good build up play.

"At least we are going to finish into double points. I just wish we had hit form a little earlier in the season, as it might have given us a chance of finishing above bottom spot!"

It's been a disappointing season for the reserves with only three wins from 17 games.

Next weeks game against Bury will now be played on Monday at the home of Radcliffe Borough.
