"I'd certainly never retire from playing for Wales and I always remain hopeful that I might one day get another call-up," he said.
"John Toshack has already called up lads from Wrexham this season so you never know what might happen.
"I'm a proud Welshman and would love to represent my country again, but my main priority at the moment is getting back playing for Wrexham."
