Dean relieved to still be in Trophy
After a 0-0 draw at the Racecourse against Ebbsfleet, Dean Saunders spoke to press about the game.
"We are still in the hat, and that is the only thing" said Saunders
"The only thing to come out of it was that we never conceded a goal, but that's as poor as we have been since I have been here, especially in the first half"
Saunders continued by saying that he had made changes for the right reasons. Wrexham would have faced Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night had the tie produced a winner, but now the Dragons will have to make the long journey to Kent for the replay on Tuesday night.
"I thought a replay was the best we could hope for with a quarter of an hour to go, we will take a 0-0 we become favourites again"
Saunders then hinted that he could make changes for Tuesday's replay
"the boys we have left out will come into the reckoning for Tuesday"
"we were without Marc Williams" today and we missed him" said Saunders.
Saunders once again paid tribute to the Wrexham fans saying they were magnificent on Tuesday and turned up again today.
"I feel that the whole town is behind us now" enthused Saunders.
