Three straight defeats since April 1st could have cost the club a chance for the play off places.
"It's not over yet. I'm not going to give up but if you can't defend and keep clean sheets you're not going to win games," said Denis Smith
"We haven't had a good or bad run all season, but now we have and it's come at the wrong time.
"It could cost people their jobs - me, the players and everybody else even if there is a club about next season."
Wrexham are still in danger of going out of business. A buyer needs to be found by June 3rd.
"People forget that the club could be out of business in June.
"The players are without contracts at the moment and they've got to improve in the next five games.
"They've got to earn their contracts and they won't earn them on that performance."
