Captain Neil Roberts, Juan Ugarte and Mark Jones are definitely out and could be joined by Chris Llewellyn, Shaun Pejic, Danny Williams and Kevin Smith.
But Dragons boss Denis Smith was given a timely boost on Tuesday night when striker Lee McEvilly came through a reserve match unscathed.
McEvilly played 65 minutes as his comeback from a broken foot continues.
Smith said: "He did OK, but he's nowhere near fully fit just yet.
"He was in the squad for last Saturday's match and I expect him to be involved at some point this Saturday, but he won't be starting."
