Luton defender Curtis Davies has pipped Wrexham’s Juan Ugarte to the League One Player of the Year.

The 20-year-old helped the Hatters to their title triumph, and won the fans' vote ahead of Ugarte and Hull winger Stuart Elliott.

Chris Kamara said: "Curtis seems to be improving every year at Luton.

"He has great pace, awareness and anticipation and, if he continues to work hard, there's no doubt he will have a great future in the game."
