Wrexham are again without the suspended Frank Sinclair as the defender serves the second game of a five-match ban.Mansour Assoumani should deputise, but top scorer Gareth Taylor (ankle) may have to again settle for a place on the bench after two outings as a sub.
Relegation-threatened Gateshead could be without defender James Curtis after he limped out of Saturday's 2-0 win over Cambridge with a hamstring strain.
The Heed start the day in 19th place, just two points clear of trouble.
But, on top of the Daryl Clare-inspired win over Cambridge, they could be boosted by the return of Carl Jones, who has missed the last three games with a hamstring problem.
If Taylor is not handed a starting berth for Wrexham, on-loan Blackpool striker Danny Mitchley should continue up front.
