Wrexham striker Matthew Wolfenden is pushing for a starting place after scoring a hat-trick in a reserve game on Wednesday.Winger Luke Holden returns from his one-match ban, but defender Frank Sinclair is unavailable as he is still serving his long-term suspension.

Rushden are without striker Jefferson Louis, who serves a one-match ban.

Lee Tomlin (ankle), Craig Farrell (groin), Simon Drowner (knee) and Rob Walleaston (flu) are all doubts.

Rushden and Diamonds assistant manager Michael Stone told BBC Radio Northampton:

"It's a big game, but not as big as it could have been because the points aren't necessary.

"What's important is we maintain our standards, keep the good habits we've built up through the season, and don't slip slightly. That could become ingrained in our play, and we want to make sure we start those play-offs in a good frame of mind.

"We're going there to win the match."
