Wrexham v Wycombe. Mitchell's farewell

Last updated : 02 February 2007 By Dylan Gallacher

Matt Crowell, Mark Jones and Juan Ugarte remain sidelined by injury.

Wycombe begin life without Kevin Betsy who joined Bristol City last weekend.

Will Antwi (groin) is a doubt, while Ian Stonebridge definitely misses out with an ankle injury

Paul Mitchell's loan spell is set to end after Saturday's home match with Wycombe Wanderers.

The 25-year-old joined the Dragons on a three-month loan on 12 January, but the Dons will activated a clause allowing them to recall him after 28 days.

Dons manager Martin Allen has a number of injury worries and has promised to make changes to the side after last Saturday's 5-0 hammering at Rochdale.

"I knew I could be recalled after a month," said midfielder Mitchell.

"Fingers crossed I can help the team to a win on Saturday. There is a good squad here and I'm sure that fortunes will change over the coming months."

Mitchell has played the full 90 minutes in each of his four games since joining League Two strugglers Wrexham.
