Hayes FC have announced that Wrexham's FA Cup 1st round tie will go ahead at Church Road on Saturday 13th November 2004 at 3pm.
Despite concerns over security at Church Road, the Conference South club will now host the game on the Saturday as the local police force assured the club that the game could go ahead at that time.
Tickets for fans are £10 adults (£5 concessions) and can be bought at the ground on the day. Hayes FC have maintained that Wrexham supporters will only be able to make use of terraces at Church Road and will make an announcement closer to the tie as to where Wrexham fans are to be located.
Hayes are hoping, given Manchester United's day off, that Sir Alex Ferguson will be in attendance to see his son, Wrexham captain, Darren in action. Something the home fans would very much like to see as they aim to claim another high profile scalp in the FA Cup.
