Representatives of Wrexham Supporters' Trust earlier today met with Alex Hamilton, majority shareholder and landlord of Wrexham FC.
WST are looking to completely relieve Mr Hamilton of al ties with the club by acquiring his 78% stake in Wrexham FC as well as the freehold he holds for the Racecourse Ground.
Vice Chairman of the Trust, Rob Griffiths, informed the press that a very constructive meeting with the Cheshire-based property developer took place, lasting around 2 hours.
The Trust presented their offer, which involves them working with partners, to Mr Hamilton and it is expected an announcement will be made by him later in the week after seeking advice regarding the offer.
The Trust are confident that an agreement can be reached to safeguard the future of the club and ground.
